What I would take into 1930 would probably be modern day medicine that could cure the diseases that had no cure back then. also  historical information that wasnt discovered back then. and modern day sweets.

  1. Hi there Leyton,

Jade F here from the Summer Learning Journey team. I thought your 3 things that you would bring back to the 1930's was brilliant.I especially liked your idea of bringing back modern day medicine, that would be so beneficial! Also I thought bringing back historical information would be handy as well. Good ideas Leyton!

Looking forward to reading more of your blog and keep up the awesome blog posts!

    All the best,
    Jade F :)

  2. Ata Marie Leyton,

It’s awesome to see that you have been blogging over the last few weeks. I think taking modern medicine back to the 1930s would be a great idea! There have been giant leaps in medicine since the 1930s and we know so much more about how to treat diseases now. What kind of modern day sweets would you take with you? If it was me, I would probably take a few different blocks of Whittaker’s chocolate.

    Keep up the great work!

  3. Kia Ora Leyton,

What a great response to this blog activity. I think taking modern medicine back to the 1930's would have had a phenomenal impact on so many lives. What an awesome idea. If only it was possible!

What are some modern day sweets that you'd take with you? M&m's are my favourite and I just researched and found out that they were first introduced on 28th February 1941. So they would be new to people in the 1930's!
