Activity 2 :the treaty of Waitangi

Discover our rich Maori culture.

Bonus activity: waka ama

That Waka ama stuff seems pretty tough  but i'm pretty sure they do that in the Olympics and it seems so exhausting. If I was fit enough I would totally do that because its good exercise in the arms and it will probably help you to be more coordinate having to row in sync with the other fellas.

"I'll only take up a little bit of room, and I'll stay out of trouble, I promise," Māui would argue.
The eldest brother would reply, "You're so skinny we might mistake you for some bait and throw you overboard for the fish to eat." (quote from the story Maui and the giant fish)

So basically Maui wasn't all ways glamour and muscle like the movie Moana displayed him as, he was actually a little skinny fella. But even though he was small he still managed to reel in a giant fish that became the North Island. He was also a relentless chap that wouldn't take no for an answer. Also he had greedy pricks as brothers that were selfish.

Other stories about Maui that I know is the one were he reels in the sun, When he steals the heart of Tafiti and the giant fish also I probably know a lot more but I've forgotten them over the years.

Image result for DELICIOUS SMALL PIECES OF PASTA IN A WHITE FLAVOURED SAUCE

Image result for delicious pastaImage result for delicious pastaThis is one of my favorite foods but it isn't my favorite food. My favorite food was like this delicious looking small little pasta things in this delicious mouth watering white sauce that makes me hungry just typing about it.  NEVER MIND I figured out what the pasta was called but not the dish with help of my good friend Matua RON. The pasta is called fusilli- and the sauce that went with it was bechamel. That dish was the one my mother made me as a child, and it was good to come inside after a long day of playing games and having fun, then being greeted by the delicious scent of Fusilli pasta in a bechamel sauce as I came back inside. I was always the last one at the table licking the bowl and the remains of the delicious white colored sauce.
